Chinese language I.

Chinese language course: The aim of the subject is to introduce to the students into the bases of Chinese language and culture. To teach them to write and read some simple characters. The students will learn how to introduce themselves and ask and answer questions,  they will be able to communicate verbally, on a basic level. By studying grammar, vocabulary and phrases, the students will be able to understand simple discourses and some cultural introductions in situations of everyday life.

 

Chinese language II.

Chinese Calligraphy

Calligraphy is an art dating back to the earliest day of history, and widely practiced throughout China to this day. It uses Chinese characters as its vehicle of expression,in which you can experience the deep art of Chinese characters and Chinese calligraphy at the same time. In essence, Calligraphy is an abstract art. Brush pens have been used to practise and improve people's handwriting for thousands of years. It has become a tradition arts and crafts production in China.Competences:  Students are introduced to the basics of China’s tourism attractions.

 

Qigong-Traditional Health Protection Exercises I.

Include two parts: one is five-annimal exercise, through which the practitioners mimic the tiger, deer, bear, monkey and bird, so as to strengthen the flexibility and healthy of the body. The other is ba-duan-jin, which means eight sections of precious silk, comparing with eight kind of exercises, through which the practitioners exersise special movements to regulate the breath, mind and body, so as to improve the physical strength, calm down the mind and remove the disorders.

 

Qigong-Traditional Health Protection Exercises II. (K)

On Qigong II. course students learn Yi-Jin-Jing. Yi means changing, Jin means ligaments and joints, Jing means classics. So the practitioners who choose this course will be trained with 12 sections of special exercises to strengthen the flexibility of ligaments and joints by regulating breath, mind and the body at the same time.

 

Qigong - Intrinsic-Nourishing Exercise

The purpose of Intrinsic-Nourishing Exercise is to treat diseases. This method  combines breathing with exercise and cooperates with conscious observance, through conscious observance and breathing exercises, to achieve the purpose of brain quiet and viscera movement effect. It has a very good adjustment effect on nerve, circulation , visceral health care, especially on  function of digestive and respiratory system.

 

Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslás a XXI. században I. (K)

A tantárgy bemutatja a Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslás alapjait, hatásmechanizmusát, működésének modern magyarázatát, felhasználási lehetőségeit, indikációs területeit. Megismerkednek a HKO részeivel: akupunktúra, gyógynövény terápia, tuina,Qi Gong-mozgásterápia, dietetika, életmód tanácsadás.
Kompetenciák:
A hallgatók ismeret szintjén elsajátítják a Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslásról hallott alapismereteket.    

 

Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslás a XXI. században II. (K)

A tantárgy bemutatja a Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslás alapjait, hatásmechanizmusát, működésének modern magyarázatát, felhasználási lehetőségeit, indikációs területeit. Megismerkednek a HKO részeivel: akupunktúra, gyógynövény terápia, tuina,Qi Gong-mozgásterápia, dietetika, életmód tanácsadás.
Kompetenciák:
A hallgatók ismeret szintjén elsajátítják a Hagyományos Kínai Orvoslásról hallott alapismereteket.  

 

TCM  theory and diagnosis

This TCM course will give a brief introduction of  Basic TCM Theory. It is mainly discuss the special diagnosis methods of TCM and how to practice in clinci, including the four diagnostic methods of TCM, such as face diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, pulse taking diagnosis; the basic ideas and methods of syndrom differentiation; basic theory on meridians and points of TCM. 

 

Acupuncture and MoxibustionTechniques

The course including following academic contents, manipulation methods, clinical application and effective mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion techniques. It mainly includes filiform needling, moxibustion, cupping as well as special needle manipulations, such as three-edged needle, cutaneous needle, intradermal needle, fire needle, elongated needle and so on. It also includes specific part of body stimulating technique and modern techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion such as ear acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and electro-acupuncture, etc. This course provides a foundation for clinical acupuncture treatment by theoretical studies and practical training.

 

Meridians and acupoints

Contents consist of two parts. What is discussed in part I includes basic conceptions of meridians and acupoints, composition of meridian system and its distribution, as well as location, classification, functions and basic rules of indications with acupoints. Part II is about routes and pathological changes of meridians, as well as location and indications.

 

Chinese Medicine and formulas

TCM and Chinese herbs is a fundamental subject of TCM. The theory is composed of herb and formula (prescription). Part I, Generalization and introduction, systematic structure module includes four properties, five flavors, ascending, descending, floating and sinking, meridian tropism. Principle of prescription or formula, functions and indications of formula, seven relations between single herbs. Part II, common herbs being applied in clinic, functions, indications, contradiction, dosage and administration involved. Common prescriptions being applied in clinic are discussed, especially classic formula. Annotation, functions, indications and dosage of each formula is discussed. Learning the subject is helpful for understanding TCM therapeutic idea and theory.

 

Chinese Tea Culture

China is the homeland of tea which has become the national drink. Referring to Chinese tea culture, it has several thousand years of history and can be traced back to the ancient times. During the course a short history of Chinese tea will be introduced. The lecturer will give an insight into tea cultivation, harvesting and the production process.  Tea types and the ways of tea drawing will be introduced as well as the process of tea ceremony.

 

Kínai teakultúra

Kína a tea szülőhazája, a tea a kínaiak nemzeti itala. A kínai teakultúra több évezredes múltra tekint vissza, a kínai kultúra meghatározó része. A kurzus keretében áttekintésre kerül a tea rövid története, az oktató ismerteti a tea termesztésével, előállításával kapcsolatos tudnivalókat, bemutatja a különféle teatípusokat. A tematika magában foglalja továbbá a teafőzet elkészítésének módjait, a kínai teaszertartás bemutatását.

 

Chinese Tuina Massage and clinical application

The course studies clinical theory and therapeutic principle of tuina. Tuina is a kind of manipulation applied in clinic of TCM. Essence of tuina lies in effect produced by well-trained therapeutic manipulation. Therapy of tuina manipulation refers to therapeutic method by which manipulators make some standard movement by using hands or other specific tools to achieve the purpose of preventing or curing diseases. Relating contents include serveral manipulations, such as pressing and rolling; different categories, such as intermittent manipulation, spinal manipulation, traction and orthopedic manipulation.

 

 

Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health-Cultivation

The course mainly discusses health maintenance based on ideas of TCM, also called Life-Cultivation, including basic theory of Chinese medicine guiding health maintenance, and how to maintain health with foods, herbs, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and qigong, according to different seasons and different constitutions.
